i would re locate the spring for the centerstand to the other side .
that way you can cut the springpost and move the exhaust about 25 mm closer to the frame
this would give you more room for the shiftlever .

plastic oilpump gear is Mototrans only . mototrans never made a 450 so its safe to presume that the oilpump gear is a steel one

Stein Dinse sells new ones very cheap . might as well chage the one on the H cylinder to

could it be fuel starvation ? the float needle valve has a rubber tip . with all the ethanol now added to the fuel that rubber tip can swell up and restrict the fuel flow . on my single racers i had the same problem and replaced the float valve for methanol valve . they dont have the rubber tip . you need a tripple clamps with 195 mm between the forklegs . i think Benelli Tornado is 180 mm

a Ceriani tripple is also 195 mm . another thing to watch is the offset . the distance between the forklegs and the steering stem .
